Exit The Thief, Enter The Dream "Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying."

Tonight may represent a significant change in the history of American politics, but  will this shift fuel the full blown revolution happening within the U.S. and the world at large? We shall certainly see... YES WE WILL.

Barack Obama, the 44th President of The United States, what an honor it is for this country to be fortunate enough to have witnessed such a day. I still can't believe what I've seen.

The last 8 years has been a living hell for many of us here on this planet. I don't think any of us quite know how to react to the news of your victory. It reminds me of that movie 'The Shawshank Redemption.' The movie shows how prison life affects prisoners when they are released from jail.

In one part of the movie, the lead character Andy (played by Tim Robins) says, “Get busy living or get busy dying.” This quote plays an important role in the movie because Red and Brooks who are two important characters get out of jail and must make the choice to either “Get busy living or get busy dying.”

When people are in jail for a long period of time, they get used to the simplest things in life. Prisoners get food, have a place to sleep, have clothes to wear, and have books to read. They adapt to the guards always telling them when to wake up or when to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prisoners get so used to these things that when they get out of jail, they don’t know what to do with themselves. They have been taken care of for so many years and now they are let out on their own. Prisoners are used to a small world and then they have to go live in a big world. Most of the time this is scary for prisoners they may be excited to get out and also scared. They have no money to live on, no place to live, nor a job to get by on. The movie offers two ways of dealing with life after prison; you can either live or die.

I've based the decisions of my life around this creed. It's either Life or Death, and only you get to decide. America, you have decided. But, now that the prison cell has been flung open and the keys to the promise land layed before you, are you going to embrace this freedom with audacity and courage to change yourself for the better? A chance like this comes along once in a lifetime. I plead for you not to continue to slouch in your arrogant slumber. Too much blood has been spilled. Many of you have dedicated all of your time and energy hunkered down in fear of change. RISE UP! and alas, sacrifice yourself upon the alter of TRUTH.

Congratulations Barack Obama. Re-enfranchise the people of America. Restore integrity to American governance. END GEORGE BUSH'S EVIL and ILLEGAL WARS IN IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN. REVISE THE PATRIOT ACT TO BE IN LINE WITH THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. SHUT DOWN GUANTANAMO. AND STOP THE WARRANTLESS WIRETAPPING OF INNOCENT U.S. CITIZENS.

WE are the REVOLUTION. WE CAN WILL CHANGE THE WORLD.
